Delivery Driver

Join The Home Depot as a Delivery Driver and be the final touchpoint in our customers' home improvement journey. As a Delivery Driver, you will safely transport merchandise from our store to customers' homes and job sites, providing friendly service and ensuring products arrive in perfect condition. You will operate box trucks and flatbed vehicles, navigating local routes while representing The Home Depot with professionalism and care.

In this customer-facing role, you will load trucks using proper techniques to secure merchandise, plan efficient delivery routes, and communicate with customers about delivery windows and product placement. You will handle a variety of products from appliances and lumber to plumbing fixtures and building materials, ensuring everything is delivered safely and on time. Your driving skills, customer service abilities, and attention to safety will ensure positive experiences for every delivery.

• Safely operate box trucks and flatbed delivery vehicles
• Load trucks with merchandise using proper securing techniques
• Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS and scheduling software
• Deliver products to residential and commercial customers
• Unload and place merchandise as requested by customers
• Collect signatures and process delivery documentation
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately
• Provide friendly, professional service representing The Home Depot
• Handle customer questions and concerns during deliveries

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
• Good knowledge of local area roads and navigation
• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Competitive hourly wage ($18.50-$25.00 based on experience and CDL)
