Job Description
Join The Home Depot as a Stock Associate and play a vital role in keeping our store running smoothly. As a Stock Associate, you will receive merchandise, stock shelves, and ensure products are organized and accessible for customers. You will work both in the warehouse and on the sales floor, using equipment like pallet jacks and order pickers to move products efficiently and safely throughout the store.
In this active, hands-on role, you will unload delivery trucks, verify shipments against invoices, and distribute products to their proper locations. You will build merchandise displays, maintain organized stockrooms, and help locate hard-to-find items for customers and sales associates. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure our shelves are fully stocked and our warehouse operates efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Unload delivery trucks and verify shipments for accuracy
- Stock shelves and organize products according to planograms
- Operate power equipment including pallet jacks and order pickers
- Build and maintain product displays and endcaps
- Downstock merchandise from overhead storage to sales floor
- Conduct inventory counts and report discrepancies
- Maintain clean, organized stockroom and warehouse areas
- Assist customers with locating products when on sales floor
- Follow all safety protocols and equipment operating procedures
- Collaborate with department teams to prioritize stocking needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders and lift equipment
- Basic math skills for counting and inventory verification
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Previous warehouse or stocking experience is a plus
