Store Manager

Join The Home Depot as a Store Manager and lead one of our premier home improvement retail locations. As Store Manager, you will have full responsibility for all aspects of store performance including sales growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and associate development. You will lead a diverse team of 100-200 associates, set the strategic direction for your location, and create a culture of excellence that delivers exceptional results and industry-leading customer service.

In this executive leadership role, you will manage a multi-million dollar operation, making critical business decisions about merchandising, staffing, inventory investment, and operational priorities. You will develop and mentor your management team, build strong relationships with the community and commercial customers, and represent The Home Depot as a local business leader. Your strategic vision, business acumen, and leadership abilities will drive both short-term results and long-term sustainable growth.

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all store operations
• Develop and execute annual business plans to achieve sales and profit goals
• Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing management team
• Create a customer-focused culture delivering exceptional service
• Manage store P&L including sales, margin, expenses, and shrink
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and regulations
• Build relationships with commercial customers and community partners
• Drive operational excellence in merchandising, inventory, and logistics
• Recruit, develop, and succession plan for key leadership positions
• Represent The Home Depot in the community and build brand reputation

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field required; MBA preferred
• 5+ years progressive retail management experience required
• Proven track record managing multi-million dollar P&L
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing management teams
• Excellent financial acumen and analytical abilities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Deep understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and customer service
• Ability to relocate for future advancement opportunities

• Competitive annual salary ($85,000-$125,000 based on experience and store volume)
