Job Description
Join The Home Depot as a Warehouse Associate and become part of our distribution and fulfillment operations. As a Warehouse Associate, you will work in our warehouse facility handling the storage, organization, and distribution of merchandise. You will operate material handling equipment, manage inventory accuracy, and ensure orders are processed efficiently to keep our stores fully stocked and customers satisfied.
In this fast-paced warehouse environment, you will pick and pack orders, load and unload trucks, and maintain organized storage areas using warehouse management systems. You will work with teammates to meet daily production goals, perform quality checks on merchandise, and ensure all safety protocols are followed. Your efficiency and attention to detail will directly impact our ability to serve customers and maintain inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas and racking
- Operate warehouse management system for inventory tracking
- Conduct cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies
- Follow all safety protocols and equipment operating procedures
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Meet or exceed daily productivity and accuracy goals
- Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds frequently
- Comfortable operating powered industrial equipment
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in varying temperatures
- Flexible schedule including various shifts and overtime as needed
